Kaufmann Mercantile Made In USA - Made For Men

My brother recently tipped me off to a very cool website - Kaufmann Mercantile. As the name implies it is an online store, but it is much more than that. It is a veritable resource for a man's live, and all with a very Well-Met outlook.

First and foremost Kaufmann Mercantile is an online store for 'carefully selected, long-lasting, and well-designed goods'. These are simple, well-made, form follows function, not overly-designed products many of which are all-natural, sustainable, or otherwise 'green' in manufacture. There is lots of leather and metal along with wood. Categories include Accessories, Office, Grooming & Beauty, Tools & Outdoors, Home, Kitchen, Grocery, and Garden as well as all New products. Pricing varies from extravagant to reasonable but considering the quality of make and materials even the expensive items I am sure are worth the price. For the women out there, this is a fantastic place to look for gifts for the upcoming Valentine's Day.

Besides the balls, they have many leather products such as a MacBook Air sleeve, dog leashes and collars, and gloves. Handmade wooden products include an iPad stand, clothes hangers and shoe trees, even swings.

But as previously stated, KM is much more than just a store. They are experts on the products they sell and they share their knowledge via their References page, a expanding library of original articles about the history, production, design, and materials, of the type of products they gather for us and customers may just like. Tips on splitting and carving wood, preparing a cocktail, even grooming are side by side with articles on materials and more. They 'hope to create a working library for others to refer to', and I myself will head back there often.

KM launches new products and posts every week. To stay updated, subscribe to their newsletter and/or follow via RSSTwitter Facebook or Pinterest.

Remember to check out our list of Goods & Services page for other like-minded local, green, or otherwise forward thinking products for men.
