Temar Boggs after saving the girl 15 year-old Temar Boggs and another teen named Chris joined a group of first responders in the search for a missing little girl in Pennsylvania. Jocelyn Rojas, 5-years old, went missing. The search began in earnest with family, neighbors and law enforcement all involved. Few would have expected that two teens on bikes would not only help, but succeed in finding and rescuing Jocelyn.

Feel Great: Save Your Bacon. Use Sunscreen.

CBS wants you to save your bacon, and by bacon they mean skin. Well done CBS - an important health message PSA in just 17 seconds and fun/clever way to get it across. I know when I say "Bacon " all the guys around me pay attention. I also appreciate how it references the "This is your brain on drugs" ads of about 20 years ago.

Feel Great: MKE Website Strives For African American Men to Have A Strong Brain Brawn & Body

Well-Met Men seeks to always increase the awareness of wellness among the men of Milwaukee and we love to highlight others with a similar mission. Brain Brawn & Body is one such site. Launched in eary 2013, BBB is very similar in philosophy to Well-Met, seeking to promote wellness in all areas of life of Milwaukee men, but they focus on African American men - an audience that needs and deserves its own focus seeing as according to BBB 'Blacks bear a disproportionate burden of disease, injury, disability and death.' Through their website and an annual publication, they seek to: provide sound health and medical information and proper guidance to a population that might not, otherwise, receive this information and is often overlooked help African American males become healthy and well informed; address the issue of health disparities experienced by African Americans

Heview: Purple Door's Whiskey Ice Cream Should Be In Your Freezer

I know right. Ice cream for a man's product review? I counter with: whiskey. Milwaukee's own Purple Door Ice Cream  is not only an amazing product, but they do everything right in making their ice cream to be truly considered a Great Men's business. Ice cream may not be up there with the typical man food like steak & potatoes and beer, but many brands have flavors that are still appealing to the manliest of men like salted caramel or coffee. Purple Door takes the cake though with their whiskey-flavored ice cream made with another Milwaukee product - Great Lakes Distillery's  Kinnickinnic Whiskey. That's double-Milwaukee which means double the goodness.

Feel Great: Viva La Resistance! Men's Health Week Followup

Y Men? Is it our very genetics that make us live shorter lives than women? For Men's Health Month and Week , we highlighted the top 7 health risks for men. I hope it helped to read about them and learn how to avoid them. But in the end, our very maleness  could be the single biggest factor for health risks and premature death in men. That is both genetically and characteristically. Robert Krulwich just wrote an article on NPR's website about Why Men Die Younger Than Women   and in it he describes various reasons from a paper called " Why Men Die Younger ," by Seattle actuary Barbara Blatt Kalben. Anything from size (note that small dogs usually live far longer than big dogs) to testosterone are possible but the last item to me is the most intriguing - that data from the Mayo Clinic mined by an essayist in 1934 showed that "mere maleness" is a predictor of greater mortality, that something about being male "influences unfavorably the resistance ......
